Objective: To review plans and commitments for BREAD Team  Assembly

April 18--“Beyond Charity to Justice” Workshop at Christ Lutheran Church

Objectives: To orient leaders at Christ Lutheran, help people understand the difference between charity and justice and the need to be engaged in justice activities.


April 26--Mary Brooks, Center for Community Change
Individual and allies meetings


April 28-29--Housing-Justice Weekend              

Objectives:  To promote pulpit exchange, special Adult Ed. classes, programs to educate people on housing issue.


April 30--BREAD Team Assembly at St. Dominic                 

Objectives:

 Ø       To confirm issue (from all congregations)

 Ø       To make turnout commitments

 Ø       To covenant with at least two congregations 
       (goal of six)

Objectives: To build BREAD Teams at Christ UMC, Christ the King and conduct outreach to Flintridge Baptist, Christ Memorial Baptist, Redeemer Lutheran, and Eastminster Presbyterian Church

Objectives: To build BREAD Team at North Broadway UMC ; To recruit UMC congregations in Greater Columbus
